This contract marks an important milestone in NIRA's journey to advance blockchain for digital rights management and enhance the security and integrity of our nation's defense technological assets.

Extending our supply chain technology offerings and leveraging our strategic partnerships with leading software developers, NIRA is making OLIOT EPICS product available on NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) GWAC for our federal customers. At its core, OLIOT EPCIS X provides a scalable repository that links together entities, transactions and events in the supply chain, allowing easy capture and query of “what, when, where, why and how” of products and other assets.

NIRA presented our work to promote effective document and data publication and sharing within the defense research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) community. The solution leverages the blockchain platforms and draws upon lessons learned from digital rights management (DRM).

NIRA has just received our ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management System) and ISO 20000-1:2018 (information Technology Service Management) certifications. These certifications reflect our team’s commitment to delivering world class IT services and support.

Building on the success of Ledger-based Network for Document Distribution (LEDGENDD) technology, our Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase II project has been just extended to address the threat of ransomware. With this extension, we are hoping to enhance resilience of enterprise IT systems, enable sharing of threat information across organizations, and advance information protection state-of-the-art.

NIRA has been awarded the GSA 8(a) STARS III - A best-in-class GWAC. 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services (STARS) III is a Best-in-Class small business set-aside contract that features a $50 billion program ceiling and limited protestability up to $10M. In addition to the general IT services scope, it can be used to support emerging technologies such as blockchain and machine learning.

The NIRA team successfully deployed a new online tool to the CPSC production environment. This tool, called the Fast Track Portal, makes it easier for businesses to report hazards and to protect consumers. As a result, it will enhance CSPC’s ability to protect the consumers by identifying and removing hazardous products from the marketplace more quickly.
